Great Butternut

Butternut pumpkin with good flavor, thick flesh and nutty taste. Long shelf life. Easy to grow, early maturity, vigorous plant with uniform shape. Suitable to grow both by staking and on the ground. Average fruit weight of 1-2 kilograms.

Growing instructions:
• Recommended to enrich the soil with lime (calcium oxide) mixed with compost or chicken manure prior to sowing
• Bed distance of approx. 1.5-3.0 meters, and plant spacing of 30-50 centimeters
• Recommended to use staking for easier crop management and to minimize damage from insects and diseases than on the ground

Harvesting period:
Maturity at 65-70 days after transplanting

Average yield:
4-5 tons per rai
