Bangkok, 30 August 2021 – Chia Tai Company Limited, Thailand’s leading innovative agricultural company, has launched Chinese bitter gourd vegetable seed “Vista Plus” (F1 Hybrid) which is the latest variety of Chinese bitter gourd in response to farmers’ demands and to boost sales in terms of leaf disease tolerance, prolific output, enlarged size of crops with nice and upright shoulder. The harvested produce has better weight, thus increasing farmer’s income as it is highly needed by the market.
Realizing the problems encountered by farmers in farming Chinese bitter gourds and to enhance cultivation for prolific output in an effort to boost stable income for fellow farmers, Chia Tai has developed the new hybrid seed for Chinese bitter gourd or Chinese bitter gourd “Vista Plus” in a bid to correct the cultivation problems from various leaf diseases used to happen off season or during inclement weather. Apart from being easy to cultivate, disease tolerance and compatible to such weather conditions, it yields good weight, beautiful shape, well in response to market demands and give more confidence to farmers.

Moreover, it is well compatible to Thailand’s varying topography conditions which are the results of careful breeding by collecting the good features of variety breeder to broaden the base of heredity hence, the achievement of this particular variety of Chinese bitter gourd with outstanding features in that it is capable to get along well with varying weather conditions in Thailand.”
Aside from its remarkable hereditary characteristics, which result in great adaptation to diverse topography and weather, making it easy to cultivate and disease tolerant, Chinese bitter gourd “Vista Plus” branches out effectively and produces huge, well-shaped crops. As a result, growers can expect yields of up to 5 tons per rai.
With merit of good variety, it has resulted in the output of high-quality produce. Likewise, Chinese bitter gourd “Vista Plus” yields output of harvested produce to each weigh between 650-800 grams in light green shiny color, elegant shape with large upright shoulder and round bottom. It is an A-grade Chinese bitter gourd highly accepted and matched with market demands.
